Building up landslide disaster resilient cities by understanding
the continuous human encroachment into geologically hazardous areas
and identify the importance of proper land use management methods in areas which are
more frequently exposed to environmental hazards that often result from human activities.

- Developing proper mitigation techniques which are environmental friendly, economical and easily applicable in terms of developing disaster resilient housing .
|
- Model approach and policy requirements for the development of landslide disaster resilient city.
|
- Propose recommendations to mitigate further risk and vulnerability in the disaster prone areas and facilitate a platform for the subsequent phases of action in agriculture and land use.
